Puppy Head Start Package

Old Dogs Learn New Tricks

Have you and your amazing new rescued family member just begun the adventure of your lives?  Do you worry whether he’ll ever be able to recover from the lingering effect past negative experiences may have had on him? Happily the answer is almost always yes! One of the most amazing talents dogs have is their truly awe-inspiring ability to ‘get over it’ and move on.

Is your beloved friend perhaps a bit older and less sharp than she used to be in days past? The good news is that just as we can, dogs of any age can learn new tricks!  Perhaps it takes a little longer and involves empathy and tweaks in communication on our parts. But most of the time he can still get there! Your dog longs to please you ,but first needs to clearly understand what you want.  The better you can talk with him,  the easier it is for her to give you their willing cooperation.

Your new friend can learn how to:

• coexist with & coparent babies & children

• Relax and settle down happily in any situation

• Respect your personal space, just as you respect his

• Come when you call her

• Spend time alone when he needs to, without fear and panic

• Walk happily with you on loose leash, without a battle!

• Toilet appropriately, better for him, definitely better for you!

Single sessions are also available at a cost of $250 per 90-minute session. These are mostly envisaged for rescue organizations needing to have a dog evaluated for placement in foster or adoption. In some circumstances, they may also make sense for addressing a couple of specific issues that don’t require as much time.

*Refunds*: As with most services, when a package is purchased, there is an ongoing commitment from both sides and so I’m able to offer a significant discount. Please be advised that all package sales are final and therefore I do not offer refunds. This is because there is always the option to purchase single sessions rather than purchasing packages. On all other issues, within reason, I make every effort to be understanding of busy schedules and to accommodate my dog/human families whenever possible.

*Cancellation Policy*: Sessions canceled at less than 12 hours notice may be charged at a full single session rate This is because such short notice means that I would be unlikely to be able to offer that time to another family needing my help.
