Old Dogs Learn New Tricks
Full Price: $1,000
Package Price: $400 - You Save $600!
Includes: 4 x 1hr in-home training sessions
Have you and your amazing new rescued family member just begun the adventure of your lives? Do you worry whether he’ll ever be able to recover from the lingering effect past negative experiences? Happily the answer is almost always yes. Because yet another of the amazing abilities dogs have, is their truly awe-inspiring ability to ‘get over it’ and move on.
Is your beloved friend perhaps a bit older and less sharp than she used to be in days past? The good news is that, just as we can, dogs of any age can learn new tricks. Perhaps it takes a little longer and involves some tweaks to management and understanding on our part. She truly longs to please you, but first needs to clearly understand what you’re asking of her. The better and the more lovingly you can talk with her, the easier it is for her to give you her willing cooperation. Another wonderful thing is that you will constantly learn from her, as you will from all your dog family members.
Your new friend can learn how to:
live peacefully with babies & children
relax & settle down happily
respect your personal space, just as you respect his
come when you call her
spend time alone when he needs to, without fear and panic
walk happily and calmly with you on leash
Potty appropriately
*Single Sessions*: are also available at a cost of $250 per 60 minute session. These are mostly envisaged for rescue organizations needing to have a dog evaluated for placement in foster or adoption. In some circumstances, they may also make sense for addressing a couple of specific issues that don’t require as much time.
*Refund Policy*: As with most services, when a package is purchased, there is an ongoing commitment from both sides - me and you - and so I’m able to offer a significant discount. Please be advised that all package sales are final and therefore I do not offer refunds. This is because there is always the option to purchase single sessions rather than purchasing packages. On all other issues, within reason, I make every effort to be understanding and to accommodate my dog/human families whenever possible.
*Cancellation Policy*: Sessions canceled at less than 24 hours notice may be charged at a full single session rate This is because such short notice means that I would be unlikely to be able to offer that time to another family needing my help.
